July 28, 2021 - Chicago-based digital visual artist and world-renowned technology innovator Douglas R. Siefken today announced the auction of his private digital art Fluid Stills® collection. Seven Fluid Stills® creations from Siefken’s private collection are now available with full transfer/assignment of copyright and ownership into perpetuity at LongGlanceMedia.com (see below). 

Art collectors and technology innovation enthusiasts alike will now have personal access to the ground-breaking genre of Stillism® using Siefken’s patented algorithm technology producing high-resolution digital still images that creates subthreshold changes at the pixel level over the continuum of time, not visible to the naked eye. Siefken’s first Fluid Stills® exhibit was sponsored by SONY in 2002 at the Julia Friedman Gallery, Chicago. Additional installations include the Hotel Cass Chicago, LaRabida Children’s Hospital, Advocate Healthcare, NIH Hospital, and the Intrepid Center.
